Project based Learning
Various methods of learning have been explored during SANDHAN’s direct intervention with teachers and students. The experiences gained during these interactions revalidated that ‘learning by doing’ is an effective tool for stepping up the pace of learning.
Project work is one such pedagogy that provides students with opportunity to investigate, learn and build knowledge on their own. Project based learning involves understanding the utilization of various information sources, increased control of student over his/her learning and enrichment of teacher’s role as facilitators of enquiry and reflection.
There are no pre defined / written set of rules of doing a project. Every project is unique in its own nature and needs customization according to the particular context.
SANDHAN is currently implementing project based learning in KGBVs of Ajmer and Banswada districts.
